Indie Developer Luck ("we", "us", or "our") operates the WBuilds for Building Guide mobile application and the wbuilds.app website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.
WBuilds for Building Guide is a Freemium service provided as-is. By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Automatically collected data: When you use WBuilds, we may automatically collect certain information, including:
WBuilds does not require registration or account creation and does not collect names or email addresses unless you voluntarily provide them (e.g., when contacting support).
WBuilds does not request location access directly. However, third-party advertisers including Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network may infer approximate location from IP addresses for the purpose of serving relevant ads.
WBuilds does not employ artificial intelligence to process user data.
WBuilds is ad-supported and displays banner ads, native ads, interstitials, and rewarded videos through Google AdMob, Unity Ads, and Meta Audience Network. A consent dialog powered by Google's User Messaging Platform allows you to choose your personalized ad preferences. Premium subscriptions remove all advertisements.
Payment processing occurs through Google Play or Apple App Store, with subscription management handled by RevenueCat. We do not directly access payment card information.
If you ask Apple or Google to refund a purchase made in the app, the store may ask us about that purchase to help it decide. With your consent, given under our Terms of Service when you make a purchase in the app or keep using the app after an earlier purchase, RevenueCat answers on our behalf with limited information about that purchase only: that it was delivered to you, that you could try the app before paying (free builds or a free trial), and whether we would prefer the refund to be granted or declined. We may consider how recently you used the app when choosing that preference, but we do not send your activity in the app or any other personal data for this purpose. The store makes the final decision.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing indiecreatorluck@gmail.com with the Order ID from your Apple or Google receipt or, in app versions that include it, by turning off the refund info setting in the app's Settings. After that we no longer answer refund requests for your purchases.
Firebase Cloud Messaging may deliver notifications about new content and features. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
WBuilds integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
We only share aggregated, anonymized data with third parties, apart from the purchase information described under Refund Requests, which goes to Apple or Google only when you ask them for a refund. Information may be disclosed when legally required, to protect our rights, or with trusted service providers who assist in operating our app.
Building guide data, preferences, favorites, and viewing history are stored locally on your device. Analytics and crash reports are transmitted to third-party services listed above.
You can control your data by:
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or request the non-sale of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at indiecreatorluck@gmail.com.
Third-party services retain automatically collected data generally for up to 24 months. Local data persists on your device until you uninstall the app.
WBuilds complies with COPPA requirements and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately. If you believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at indiecreatorluck@gmail.com.
We implement physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of WBuilds after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
